How do I access USA Class?
New users typically use an agency or office invitation link, sign in with Entra ID, verify their information, select a role, and submit their access request for review. Existing users sign in with Entra ID and go directly to the Request Dashboard.
Can I access USA Class through USA Staffing?
Yes. Eligible users may access USA Class from USA Staffing through the Classification area or other approved entry points, in addition to the standalone USA Class login page at Sign In.
How are roles assigned and access granted?
OPM administrators grant access to USA Class Admin Users. Admin Users then approve users and assign Manager, Classifier, Team Lead, or Admin User access, as applicable.
What if I cannot access USA Class after signing in?
First, confirm that you are using the correct entry path and account. If access still fails, contact your agency USA Class Admin User or support contact. If the issue appears related to broader USA Staffing account access, contact your agency USA Staffing contact or account manager.
Can a user have more than one office?
Yes. If a user is assigned to more than one office, the user can switch offices from the main screen. Click on the Offices tab in the navigation pane on the left side of the screen.
What can I do from the main screen?
From the main screen, users can start a new request, search for requests, open recent requests, sort or filter the request list, switch offices if assigned to more than one, access settings, report bugs, and use the Recycle Bin.
What do the request statuses mean?
In Progress means the request is still being worked in its current phase.
Submitted means the request has been sent forward for review in the workflow.
Completed means the request has reached the end of the PD Builder workflow.
Can I recover a deleted request?
Deleted requests remain in the Recycle Bin for up to 90 days.
Can I update my personal settings?
Yes. In Settings, users can update their name and time zone.
Do I need an individual USA Staffing license to use USA Class?
No. USA Class is a separate system and does not require an individual USA Staffing license. Access is available through the agency’s broader USA Staffing or other applicable service agreement. Each user must still request a USA Class account through the appropriate office invitation link and be approved by an agency USA Class Admin.
Does having a USA Staffing account automatically give me access to USA Class?
No. USA Staffing users do not automatically receive USA Class access. Each user must request access to the appropriate USA Class office, and an agency Admin must approve the request and assign the appropriate role.
Can an Admin create a user account directly or approve multiple accounts at once?
Currently, users must request access through the office-specific invitation link. Admins review those requests and approve, deny, or modify the requested role. Admins cannot directly create an account for another user outside the invitation-link process, and bulk account creation or approval is not currently available.
What can Managers and Classifiers see compared with Team Leads and Admins?
Managers and Classifiers generally see requests they initiated or that have been assigned to them. Team Leads and Admins can see all requests within the selected USA Class office. Access does not automatically extend across separate offices; users who need access to more than one office must be assigned to each office.
